Israel’s situation “In a nutshell”-The return of “Hyboria”

When the need to survive prevails!

“Know, oh prince, that between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and the years of the rise of the Sons of Aryas, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars–Nemedia, Ophir, Brythunia, Hyperborea, Zamora with its dark-haired women and towers of spider-haunted mystery, Zingara with its chivalry, Koth that bordered on the pastoral lands of Shem, Stygia with its shadow-guarded tombs, Hyrkania whose riders wore steel and silk and gold. But the proudest kingdom of the world was Aquilonia, reigning supreme in the dreaming west. Hither came Conan, the Cimmerian, black-haired, sullen-eyed,sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandalled feet.”

-Robert E. Howard

When war is looming, people seek to put the blame on a person, a state or an entity marked as scapegoat in general. There are different types of war, though, in terms of the causes and most of the times they are ambiguous. Those cases of war, which rise when a nation fights for its existence are unique and according to our opinion are beyond any criticism. There are but a few, who understand how it is to live in a country, which is surrounded by enemies, but that is neither the beginning nor the end of Israel’s history. 1948, the Suez crisis, The six day war, The Yom Kippur war are just examples of how many times Israel has come to the brink of extinction. Absolutely, it is easy to criticize and defend The Human Rights, as far as someone is away from the battlefield. What about “The nations’ rights” don’t they pose the same substrate, as the human rights, as a cause to fight and even die for? Unfortunately, antisemitism nowadays has risen once again as an old card played by those who are sure that the people in modern artificial, almost “plastic”, Democracies are totally unaware of solid historical facts, preferring to listen to various types of conspirators, who project “The Jew” as the mother of all evil on the planet. The video that follows mirrors the situation as it is, and describes the necessity that behests a nation to take the arms and go to war. That primitive, rudimentary response has been the cornerstone of all wars since antiquity, no matter how many layers of civilization and technological advances cover it. For Israel the causes of war lie within the context of the Shakespearean dilemma: “To be or not to be?”
